Tantallon Caravan Park overlooks the Firth of Forth right across to the Fife coast, as well of course as having unrivalled views of the Bass Rock and the world’s largest colony of gannets. Nearby Tantallon Castle is an imposing cliff top castle just outside North Berwick, which also offers breathtaking views out to May Island and beyond.

North Berwick itself is a scenic harbour town with an eclectic mix of quality shops and restaurants, but it is probably most famous for its world-renowned golf courses. But don’t miss a visit to the Scottish Seabird Centre, an award winning 5-star visitor attraction with amazing live action cameras which zoom in on the wildlife on the Bass Rock. North Berwick harbour is also the place to take a boat trip to the Rock and further afield to the iconic Forth Bridges and Inchcolm Island.
The town is also known for having a superb events programme that provides year-round entertainment with highlights including the North Berwick Highland Games and Fringe by the Sea.
