Drumoig Golf Course (est. 1997)

Yards: 6396 Holes: 18 Par: 72

Drumoig golf course has gained a good reputation as an 18-hole, championship-style course, which presents an interesting and challenging round for any golfer.

The manicured layout of the course encourages full shoulder turns and solid iron play. The signature 5th is a par five, almost always into the prevailing westerly wind and requiring two long woods and a long iron to reach the entrance of a sheltered green.

The 9th offers the prospect of two large lochs biting into a thin waist of land. A five iron into position is the safe route with another five iron or more securely to the right of the green.

Drumoig golf course is a relative newcomer to the world of golf in Scotland, but it certainly holds it own when it comes to challenging and engaging golf. It might not be at the forefront of your mind when you think of a golfing break in Fife, but it definitely bears a visit so you can see for yourself exactly what this charismatic golf course has to offer.
