The European Tour professional golfer took part in a round with players nominated from the charity, Winning Scotland Foundation.

London, 16th July 2018: Digital currency LIFElabs.io has launched its latest initiative with Scottish golfer and ambassador Scott Jamieson, playing with youngsters at the historic Montrose Golf Links, ahead of his appearance at this week’s British Open.

The six aspiring golfers who took part in the event were nominated by the charity Winning Scotland Foundation, a charity that helps young people develop confidence, ambition and resilience. They completed nine holes of golf while receiving a real-time coaching clinic from one of the world’s best golfers, helping them to develop their game and their overall self-confidence. Spending time with Scott was in-keeping with LIFE’s philanthropic investments in engaging charities that cater to life’s essentials. In this case: to give Scottish children role models and improve sporting participation, helping them to achieve their personal best in life.

This is just the latest charitable and sporting initiative from LIFElabs.io. The company became the world’s first digital currency sponsor of a European Tour golfer when its partnership with Scott Jamieson was announced in 2018. Other interests include a tie-up with non-league football club, Hythe Town FC, where the company was founded in Kent, England.
