<p>On the <a href="https://www.visitwirral.com/" target="_blank">Wirral</a> there are currently 12,000 people living with cancer. <a href="http://utsfoundation.com/" target="_blank">The UTS Foundation</a>, a Wirral based cancer charity, is focusing their fundraising efforts to make a real difference to these people living with or effected by cancer by launching The Ultimate Golf Challenge. The UTS Foundation is a Wirral Charity, created for Wirral people, by Wirral people, in partnership with Wirral businesses, working to make a difference in its<strong> local community.</strong></p>
<p><strong>The Ultimate Golf Challenge</strong></p>
<p>The Ultimate Golf Challenge calls all golfers to play 72 holes (4 rounds) in their team of 4, in any 24 hour period between May and August at a golf course of their choice. The top 18 fundraising teams will progress through to <strong>The Finals of The Ultimate Golf Challenge</strong>, which will take place in September 2019 at Caldy Golf Club, on the Wirral. Here the 18 teams will get to experience ‘A day in the life of a professional golfer’ in partnership with <strong><em><a href="https://www.playfairevents.co.uk/" target="_blank">Playfair golf events</a></em></strong>. All finalists will also receive complimentary VIP tickets to the gala dinner at Wirral’s only 5 star venue, <strong><a href="https://www.hillbarkhotel.co.uk/" target="_blank">Hillbark Hotel</a>,</strong> in October. To take on this challenge, participants will need a team of four, a tee time at their course of choice. Golf is a sport synonymous with the Wirral and many golf courses have signed up to support the challenge and will offer discounted green fees to anyone taking on The Ultimate Golf Challenge. <p>The Ultimate Challenge aims to get everyone involved. There are different categories you can participate in; Mens &amp; Women’s, Corporate, Youth and Family and also other, less demanding, challenges to take part in;</p>
<ul>
<li>54 and 36 holes (for Junior golfers) in 24 hours</li>
