Huddersfield Golf Club

The Home of Yorkshire Golf

Huddersfield Golf Club’s history and tradition are key elements to the ethos of our club.

Here at Huddersfield, we are sensitive to the expectations of the golfer in the 21st century. We have invested heavily in the quality and presentation of our 6,500 yard championship course. Greens prepared to USGA standard and quick drying fairways offer a great days play when many other courses are closed.

The course quality has been recognised in our appointment into the Golf Monthly Top 200 in 2012. We have hosted many Amateur Competitions and Internationals including both the Men’s and Ladies Yorkshire Championships, the Brabazon Qualifying and in 2014 the Ladies’ Senior Home Internationals.

We have an extensive Practice Ground with all weather bay’s and an indoor teaching facility with video analysis.

Visitors to our Club can expect a warm Yorkshire welcome from our staff and members. The good taste of the 18th century and the wealth of the industrial 19th century combine to reflect the splendour of Fixby Hall making it one of the best appointed clubhouses in the country. It is home to the Yorkshire Union of Golf Clubs.

In addition to the many Golf Societies who regularly play the course, we play host to corporate and charity golf days and to corporate meetings, private parties and weddings.

Whether you are planning a fourball, a golfing party, business meeting, conference, function or a wedding, you are assured of a memorable time at Fixby Hall, the home of Huddersfield Golf Club and Yorkshire golf.

We look forward to your visit soon.
