Allerton Manor Golf Club
The Championship Course – Par 67
Our 18 hole Championship course is 5,494 yards long from the white markers and is a challenge for golfers of all standards. The Championship course enjoys a fabulous mature tree lined setting and is considered to be one of the finest pay and play golf courses in the region. The biggest test on Allerton can often be considered the starting holes, 3 consecutive par 4s which even the more advanced players are happy leaving with a par or bogey.
Whilst Allerton is a relatively flat golf course our signature 8th hole, aptly named the Valley, requires golfers to tee off over a valley directly onto the green with little margin for error. Another of our feature holes is the 16th, which requires a carefully placed drive to avoid being blocked out from approaching the green by a lone pine tree. Once this has been negotiated most golfers will only need a short iron to hit into the green which has an amazing backdrop lined with stunning Cedar, Oak, and Yew trees.
A great course for golfers of all abilities and ages, much improved in recent years and playable all year round. Golf buggies are now available to rent for all golfers over the age of 18 too.
9 Hole Academy Course – Par 34
The 9 hole Academy course is 1,841 yards – is one of the best facilities of this type in the UK offering a great place for experienced golfers to improve their skills, for new golfers to learn to play or for juniors to feel comfortable on a golf course and learn the etiquette.
Definitely not to be mistaken for a pitch and putt, (the shortest hole being 130 yards whilst the longest is a par 4 309 yards long) it provides all players with a relaxed, enjoyable place to learn to play or improve their game.
